Description: Division R&D Department 2W veh design Level Specialist Functional Area 2W veh hor- Rolling chassis 1 Job Title Technical Executive 2 Reporting Functional reporting to : EX 3 Background - Educational Qualification Essential : - Diploma Mechanical Engg from reputed University / Institute - Should have been consistent & secured good percentage throughout academics (SSC, Diploma) Experience Minimum – 7 years Maximum – 15 years Age limit Minimum – 25 years Maximum – 33 years 4 Job Role & Responsibilities Role: Support the entire design lifecycle of two wheeler Rolling chassis components which includes the following stages - Sound knowledge of chassis components- Frame/Handle bar system/Fabricated parts/Brakes/Suspension/swing arm assembly/Wheels/Forging & Casting parts. - Proficient in CAD UG-NX/CATIA ,Team center or equivalent PLM software - Ability to do multitasking: Testing co-ordination & Benchmarking. - Knowledge on different types of materials, manufacturing processes used in chassis component system mentioned above - Application of GD&T, DFMEA, DFM etc Technical/ Functional: - Proficient in chassis component design in either of the following systems/ Frame/Handle bar system/Fabricated parts/Brakes/Suspension/swing arm assembly/Wheels/Forging & Casting parts. - Good understanding & awareness of new technologies used in vehicles - Basic knowledge of vehicle layout design, ergonomics and homologation requirements - Good communication skills 5 Competency Requirements Behavioral - Ready to take initiatives, Desire to Learn - Effective team player - Proactive and Good interpersonal skills Specific expertise required for functional area : - Unigraphics (CRITICAL) - Teamcenter Engineering or PLM system
