Description: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Developer to work on our retail client's projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and supporting our client's applications, ensuring smooth post-production operations. With a focus on Databricks and SQL, you will be responsible for enhancing application performance and delivering high-quality solutions. Requirements: - 6 to 8 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on SQL, SSIS, and Databricks. - Proven experience in retail client engagement and a track record of delivering successful projects. - Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach. - Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts. - Experience with cloud-based data platforms and an understanding of cloud computing principles. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and a willingness to adapt to changing project requirements. - Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and team members. - A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement. - A relevant bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain efficient, scalable, and secure data pipelines using Databricks and SQL. - Collaborate with the client to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs. - Implement and optimize data processing and transformation processes using SSIS and Databricks. - Ensure data integrity and quality by implementing robust data validation techniques. - Perform application performance tuning and optimization to enhance overall system efficiency. - Provide post-production support and promptly address any issues or bugs that arise. - Work closely with the development team to integrate data engineering solutions into the overall application architecture. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, especially in the retail domain. - Document and maintain clear and concise technical documentation for future reference. - Actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
