Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle SQL Database Developer / PL/SQL Expert to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining backend database solutions that support mission-critical business applications. This role requires strong expertise in Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL programming, along with experience integrating enterprise systems through Web Services and APIs using C#/.NET technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with application developers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions while adhering to engineering best practices. Requirements: Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MCA, or related discipline. - 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Oracle databases. - Expert-level knowledge of: - Oracle Database - SQL - PL/SQL - Hands-on experience in developing: - Stored Procedures - Packages - Functions - Triggers - Complex SQL Queries - Strong understanding of database design, normalization, and data modelling concepts. - Experience in SQL performance tuning and query optimization. - Proficiency in troubleshooting database-related issues in production environments. - Working knowledge of Web Services, REST APIs, SOAP services, and system-to-system integrations. - Experience with C# and .NET technologies for backend integration. - Understanding of software engineering principles, coding standards, and version control systems. - Experience working in Agile development environments. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Unix/Linux environments. - Knowledge of Shell Scripting (Bash/Korn Shell). - Experience with Oracle performance monitoring and database administration concepts. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Exposure to Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native concepts. - Experience with source control tools such as Git, SVN, or Azure DevOps. - Understanding of message-based integrations and enterprise application architecture. - Exposure to Angular, JavaScript, or other front-end technologies is a plus.
