Description: Job Purpose: To carryout OTDR testing and involved in third party inspection to support on customer needs for product quality assurance. Key Responsibilities: § Maximize OTDR Fibre Count testing & ensure error free OTDR testing. § Ensure Correctness and availability of OTDR test reports. § Perform error free OTDR testing during third party inspection. § Perform verification of other cable attributes & ensure 100% Visual and physical checks on product manufactured. § Timely intimate production operator for any non-conformance of product. § Maintain the testing equipment in good condition and hand over the same to shift in charge / reliever. § Perform SAP result recording and usage decision of drums tested. § Train of new entrants for OTDR testing and related activities. § Follow the safety & health rules and protect the environment. § Support & maintain the 5S Programme. Mandatory Skills/ Certification: § Knowledge of Optical Fibre cable and hands on experience on OTDR and other OFC test equipment’s. § Ability to think logically and methodically. § Good investigative and problem-solving skills. § Knowledge on Aspect Impact and HIRA Study Behavioural Competency: § Have the ability to see things from other people’s perspectives. § Acquire focused thinking. § To be very cautious. § Well organized in performing duties.
