Job description

Description: Responsibilities & Key Deliverables - Provide medical consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to employees at the Occupational Health Centre (OHC). - Handle medical emergencies, workplace injuries, and accidents; coordinate hospital referrals when required. - Conduct pre-employment, periodic, return-to-work, and statutory medical examinations. - Certify fitness for duty, sickness absenteeism, and medical fitness as per statutory and company guidelines. - Prescribe medicines and oversee clinical care provided by nursing/paramedical staff. - Supervise OHC operations and guide nursing staff in treatment protocols and emergency response. - Maintain accurate medical records, accident registers, and statutory documentation. - Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, ESI provisions, and Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules. - Advise management on occupational health risks, ergonomics, and preventive healthcare measures. - Plan and participate in health promotion activities such as health camps, vaccination drives, and wellness programs. - Coordinate with hospitals, diagnostic centers, and external medical partners. - Ensure availability and control of medicines, emergency equipment, and medical consumables at OHC.
