Department: Design Section: Design - Model Studio Description of Roles and Scope of work: We are seeking highly passionate, multi-talented, creative design professionals for the role of Concept Designer at TVS Design Studio. As a designer at TVSM Design Studio, you will be responsible for the design development of our current & future TVSM vehicle portfolio & brands. You will also be part of designing concept vehicles to lay the foundation for future vision models. You will be part of the core team that creates and executes world-class mobility solutions in terms of design & brand building. What You’ll Do - Create Body graphics design proposals, Colour, material, textures & finish for TVSM portfolio of vehicles, ranging from broad design themes all the way to detail design, accessories & merchandising. - Create compelling 2D & 3D proposals that show a vision for the future of mobility & the brand. - Create design from the sketch to concept modelling in Blender to quick physical prototyping. - Work closely with engineers to develop engineering solutions that serve the design vision. - Participate in cross-functional user research, product definition, feature listing and future upgrades. - Work along with Concept designers to create compelling designs that showcase the future of color and trim to create a unified vision for the designs. - Work with suppliers to integrate the best possible technologies to achieve product craftsmanship. - Direct the fabrication team to complete prototypes for review & sign-offs. · Trend Study and Forecasting, Benchmark analysis. · Prioritization of daily and weekly work schedules and moving them forward towards completion. · Sensitive to form, product and graphic design details, colour, etc. What You’ll Bring - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphics / UI UX / Automotive / Transportation / Product Design. - Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in production automotive design, or a combination of advanced and production design. (applicable for only design positions). · Expertise in design software 2D and 3D visualization– Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Coral Draw, Blender, Keyshot, VR, etc. - Essential knowledge of Motorcycle, scooter & 4W design. - Must have demonstrated knowledge/ experience of prototyping and development processes. · Trained in interacting with customers for gaining insights. · Hands-on skill in translating 2D sketches to 3D realistic models in Blender & Vred. (Animation expertise will be an asset). · Support 3D modelers with clear visual and verbal direction in the creation of digital models & physical models. · Exceptional visual and fluent communication skills. · Collaborative and solid team player. · Sensitive to form, product and graphic design details, colour, etc. · An eye for Trends, Art & Fashion.
