Responsibilities - Create high-quality sample applications, SDKs, and reference code demonstrating best practices. - Produce developer-facing content: tutorials, how-to guides, blog posts, and short demos for community and events. - Provide technical support and triage for partners and customers integrating APS APIs; reproduce issues, and coordinate fixes with engineering. - Work with product and engineering teams to influence API design, improve developer experience, and maintain runbooks and onboarding flows. - Deliver reference implementations and example code for Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers/clients so agents and tools can safely access Autodesk data. - Leverage generative AI tools to accelerate developer deliverables (e.g., prototypes, sample generation, documentation drafts), while ensuring quality and security of outputs. Required qualifications - 5+ years software engineering or developer-facing experience (web/cloud/native). - Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SDKs, and modern web/cloud stacks; ability to produce clean, tested sample code. - Strong understanding of authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth2 flows, service accounts) and secure integration practices. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort presenting to technical audiences. Preferred qualifications - Prior developer advocacy, developer support, or partner-facing engineering experience. - Experience with APS/Forge, or familiarity with Autodesk product APIs (Revit, ACC/BIM Automation, Fusion). - Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Python or .NET; Docker and cloud deployment patterns. - Familiarity with MCP, MCP server/client patterns, or agentic AI integration concepts is a plus. #LI-SJ1 Learn More About Autodesk Welcome to Autodesk!
