Job Title / Role: Core team member- Birdie project Department: PED (H) Section: PED - AEPT Location: Hosur Education Qualification: Diploma: 10-12 years (3-4 years of relevant production Engg & project management experience)BE: 5-8 years (3-4 years of relevant production Engg & project management experience) Role Description · Formulate manufacturing strategy for NPD & making investment proposal 2. Achieve target milestones and DR gates for the New Product 3. Finalise Make or Buy for new products along with Purchase 4. Ensure Technical process design P1,P2,P3,P4 review completed and consolidated at alpha, beta and qp stages and DR gates. 5. Achieve manufacturing process targets to achieve AQ/MBQ of the Product 6. Capacity planning for New Products considering the current products capacity requirement 7. Monitoring the ordering and receipt of new facilities, MH facilities, Tools and gauges. 8. Preparing project level SOB & Ensuring delivery of required no.of vehicles during Alpha, Beta and QP / EJO ensuring the adherence to SOP. Consolidation and resolution of issues during Alpha, Beta and QP 9. Preparing plant layout options, Firming up the plant location and taking the approval considering QCD analysis. 10.Ensuring timely completion of PFD, PFMEA,TMOS,QCPC at different design review gates & updation of control plans alpha, beta and QP 11.Update project progress using TOC / PM software, Conducting regular weekly reviews\QP reviews and monitoring the critical path activities and appraising HOD and program manager 12.Preparing, presenting design reviews to cell heads, HOD and BLT members.Participation in road trips. 13.Eliminate current product issues in new products with respect to MIW parts and process (PPP) 14.Responsible for in-house - PPAP approval for MIW parts, sub system & final product 15.Resolve critical MIW issues in consultation with PED categories and Head PED Managing points (Key KPI/KRA’s) Achieve Manufacturing process targets Achieve P&F/S&T Cost Achieve NPI milestones(Alpa, Beta, QP, DR gates) No.of repeat problems compared to past products Adherence to TPD reviews & closing the points MIW PPAP approval ·
