Description: Please enter job description Desired experience : · Candidate should have understanding of formulations and applications in the field of construction chemicals in water proofing , flooring, adhesives, sealants, powder, repair segment etc · Understanding of chemistries used in construction chemicals such as acrylic, epoxy, polyurethane etc is highly desirable. Knowledge of synthesis will be an advantage Responsibilities : · Developments of new products / technology in the field of construction chemicals . Understanding of concept to commercialization regarding new product development is must · Development of new formulations or optimizing existing formulations by identifying cost competitive raw materials · Testing of existing or newly developed products and developing new test methods when needed · Trouble shooting problems at customer site during or after product applications when required · Maintain accurate records of laboratory experiments related to product development · Provide technical support to production, qc, sales and marketing as needed · Understanding of safety and regulations related to safe operations of research laboratory and chemical handling is required. · Lead and develop team members through mentoring and training JOB SPECIFICATIONS · Essential Qualification :Ph.D Chemistry/ B.E/M.E. (Chemical/ Civil) / M.Sc Chemistry · Experience : 15 to 18Years · Products to be handled : R&R, Admixtures, Waterproofing, Flooring , Epoxy CRITICAL COMPETENCIES OF THE JOB 1. Leadership Skills 2. Knowledge of norms and regulations such as government policies, provincial and central environment regulations, industrial trends and investments etc 4. Should also have basic understanding about QC & QA.
