Description: Join Nokia’s Autonomous Networks engineering team building a next-generation Core Network Management System that helps telecom operators proactively prevent network failures and significantly reduce Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR). Our cloud-native platform ingests and processes massive-scale telemetry, performance, fault, configuration, and operational data from thousands of network functions. Leveraging Kubernetes, microservices, data lake architecture, AI/ML-driven analytics, automated Root Cause Analysis (RCA), anomaly detection, and predictive insights, the platform enables real-time monitoring, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and remediation recommendations. The system is built using modern technologies including Golang, OpenShift, OpenTelemetry, React based UI, ClickHouse, VictoriaMetrics, Kafka, and Agentic AI frameworks to build scalable, intelligent, and highly resilient telecom solutions. Requirements: You have: - Engineering / Mastrer's Degree with 12+ years of Deep expertise in Cloud-Native Architectures, including Kubernetes (CRDs, Operators, Controllers), OpenShift, Microservices, Distributed Systems, and Platform Engineering. - Hands-on experience in Golang and building highly scalable, resilient, and performance-critical backend systems. - Proven experience designing large-scale data ingestion, ETL, event-driven, and streaming architectures using technologies such as Kafka, ClickHouse, VictoriaMetrics, and MariaDB. - Very good knowledge of Observability, Telemetry, Monitoring, and Analytics platforms, including OpenTelemetry, OTLP, OpAMP, PromQL/VMQL, and large-scale metrics processing. - Experience defining architecture for high availability, scalability, fault tolerance, automation, RCA, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics solutions. - Deep understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, Automation, Helm, Jenkins, and Kubernetes-based deployment and operations models. - Proven technical leadership in driving architecture strategy, technology adoption, customer issue resolution, and mentoring engineering teams, including adoption of AI-assisted engineering and Agentic AI frameworks. Good to have: - Knowledge of Telecom Networks, SNMP, 3GPP standards, and Network Function Management with the ability to model and correlate operational, fault, performance, and configuration data. Responsibilities: - Define and drive the architecture and technology strategy for cloud-native observability platform component, ensuring scalability, reliability, performance, security, and operational excellence. - Lead the end-to-end architectural design and evolution of software solutions, providing technical direction from concept through implementation, deployment, and lifecycle management. - Drive the resolution of complex customer-reported issues and critical production incidents, lead root cause analysis (RCA), and establish long-term architectural improvements to enhance system resilience, maintainability, and customer experience. - Champion engineering best practices, cloud-native architectures, DevSecOps, automation, CI/CD, and Kubernetes-based platforms to improve product quality, operational efficiency, and developer productivity. - Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, including AI-assisted engineering, agentic automation frameworks, and observability innovations, to accelerate delivery and create strategic business value. - Provide architectural leadership and mentorship across engineering teams while collaborating with product, engineering, operations, and customer-facing stakeholders to align technology decisions with business and customer objectives.
