Description: Division R&D Department T&V Level Specialist Functional Area 3W-DMU 1 Job Title Specialist DMU – 3W CV 2 Reporting Functional reporting: L3 (As per organizational structure) 3 Background i) Educational Qualification Essential: Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile engineering from a reputed institution ii) Experience Minimum: 8 Maximum: 14 iii) Age Limit Minimum: 29 Maximum: 36 4 Job Role & Responsibilities Role: The DMU Specialist will be responsible for executing vehicle level virtual checks for 3&4W commercial vehicles Responsibilities: - Handling DMU of 3W ICE and EV vehicles - Evaluate DFA/DFS issues on vehicles received from manufacturing plant in each phase and suggest countermeasures - Own issues and follow up for countermeasures from Design/VI - Proto assembly and part development support 5 Competency Requirements Technical/ Functional: - Basic 3W knowledge - Ability to understand Product Architecture - Knowledge of basic engineering design concept - Visualize how parts fit and assemble - Ability to foresee assembly & serviceability issues - Performing clearance and interference checks - Conducting ergonomics analysis - Running assembly simulations Behavioral - Analytical ability, Problem solving and Decision-making skills - Soft spoken, Confident and Assertive - Initiative, Desire to Learn - Positive attitude towards work - Ability to work in a team Specific expertise required for functional areas: - 3W assembly knowledge - Essential: Software knowledge - UG-NX, Teamcentre Vis Mockup, Process Simulate, IC.IDO, Jack 6 Likely sources OEMs – Tata Motors, M&M, TVS, Piaggio, etc.
