Description: Position Job Title SAP SD Consultant Job Location India Reports to (position) Associate Director – Sales Duration 12-18 months Purpose of the position - Design and implement order-to-cash back-office process automation through digitalisation and interface solutions. - Key process areas include: – Customer master and customer lifecycle management – Credit management – Pricing and contract management – Order, delivery and billing operations – Rental and container management – Billing adjustments and corrections – Credit and collections reporting Required critical behaviours - Strong communication skills. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-cultural teams, primarily across Asia and Europe. - Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to understand complex order-to-cash processes and identify automation opportunities. - Ability to challenge manual ways of working and propose practical digital solutions. - High-performance mindset. - Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. Required qualifications/experience · At least 10 years of experience as an SAP SD consultant, with strong hands-on experience in sales operations and order-to-cash process design and implementation. - Expert knowledge of SAP SD in S/4 HANA with the ability to upskill internal SAP functional consultants. - Strong experience with order-to-cash process digitalisation and automation, including hands-on experience with SAP PIPO and interface design with non-SAP systems. - Experience integrating SAP SD with customers’ SAP Ariba systems, including interface design is highly desirable. - Experience in data mapping for SAP SD processes, including defining source fields, transformation rules and validation requirements to support business intelligence reporting and dashboard development. - Ability to work with business users and developers to convert manual order-to-cash activities into automated workflows, SAP interfaces and rule-based solutions. - Knowledge of SAP workflow solutions for process automation and approval workflows will be an advantage. - Strong SAP functional consulting skills including conducting workshops, performing fit/gap analysis, preparing functional specifications, preparing test scripts, executing unit and integration testing, supporting user acceptance testing, preparing training materials, conducting training and providing post go-live support. · S/4 HANA certification in the relevant modules will be an added advantage.
