Description: Position Job Title SAP MM Consultant Job Location India Reports to (position) Associate Director – Supply Duration 12-18 months Purpose of the position - Design and implement procurement and master data maintenance back-office process automation through digitalisation and interface solutions. - Key process areas include: – Procurement operations – Supplier query and issue resolution – Ariba and vendor management tool integration – Procurement reporting and analytics – Vendor master data – Material master data Required critical behaviours - Strong communication skills. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-cultural teams, primarily across Asia and Europe. - Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to understand complex supply processes and identify automation opportunities. - Ability to challenge manual ways of working and propose practical digital solutions. - High-performance mindset. - Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. Required qualifications/experience · At least 10 years of experience as an SAP MM consultant, with strong hands-on experience in procurement, inventory and master data process design and implementation. - Expert knowledge of SAP MM in S/4 HANA with the ability to upskill internal SAP functional consultants. - Strong experience with procurement and master data digitalization, including hands-on experience with SAP PIPO and interface design with non-SAP systems. - Experience in data mapping for SAP MM processes, including defining source fields, transformation rules and validation requirements to support business intelligence reporting and dashboard development. - Experience designing rule-based SAP programs for procurement and master data maintenance, including mass upload, validation and automation to replace tools such as RPA bots and Winshuttle. - Ability to work with business users and developers to convert manual supply processes into automated workflows, SAP interfaces and rule-based solutions. - Experience with Ariba and vendor management tool integration will be highly desirable. - Knowledge of SAP PM will be an advantage. - Strong SAP functional consulting skills including conducting workshops, performing fit/gap analysis, preparing functional specifications, preparing test scripts, executing unit and integration testing, supporting user acceptance testing, preparing training materials, conducting training and providing post go-live support. · S/4 HANA certification in the relevant modules will be an added advantage.
