Job Summary The Resident ER Physician/Medical Officer is the frontline medical professional responsible for providing immediate, high-quality, and life-saving assessment, stabilization, and treatment for patients presenting with acute illnesses, trauma, and medical emergencies. Working under the guidance of senior emergency consultants, the Resident ER ensures rapid triage, accurate diagnosis, immediate resuscitation, and seamless coordination with specialty departments. Key Responsibilities 1. Emergency Triage & Clinical Assessment

• Rapid Evaluation: Conduct immediate, systematic assessments of arriving patients to prioritize care based on clinical severity and urgency (triage protocols).

• Acute Diagnosis: Formulate rapid provisional diagnoses for undifferentiated medical, surgical, pediatric, and traumatic emergencies using history, physical exams, and point-of-care diagnostics.

• Stabilization: Initiate immediate resuscitation and stabilization for critical conditions such as cardiac arrest, severe trauma, respiratory failure, stroke, and acute shock.
