Job Description – Resident Doctor Position: Resident Doctor Department: Clinical / Assigned Department Location: Hospital Reporting To: Consultant / HOD / Medical Superintendent Job Purpose To provide safe, timely and effective medical care to patients under the supervision of Consultants and Senior Medical Officers, while ensuring proper clinical documentation, coordination and adherence to hospital policies. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessment and examination of patients.

• Take detailed patient history and document clinical findings.

• Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical condition.

• Assist Consultants and Senior Doctors during patient examination and treatment.

• Attend to emergency calls and provide immediate medical support as required.

• Review investigations and report clinically significant findings to the Consultant.

• Prepare and maintain accurate patient case sheets, progress notes and discharge summaries.

• Coordinate with nursing, laboratory, radiology and other hospital departments for patient care.

• Follow up on investigations, procedures and treatment plans.
