Description: Role overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Applications Development Programmer Analyst to join our global Technology team. In this collaborative role, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of robust, high-performance software applications. Utilizing your expertise in Java, React, and Oracle database technologies, you will solve complex technical challenges, optimize system functionality, and deliver high-quality solutions that support our core business operations. Key responsibilities - Full-stack development: Design, build, and maintain responsive front-end user interfaces using React and secure, scalable back-end services using Java. - Database management: Design, optimize, and maintain relational database schemas, complex queries, and stored procedures within Oracle databases. - Software development lifecycle: Participate actively in all phases of the development process, including systems analysis, technical design, coding, testing, implementation, and post-deployment support. - Systems analysis and planning: Conduct feasibility studies, prepare time and cost estimates, and contribute to risk technology and IT planning initiatives. - Security and compliance: Recommend and implement robust security measures during system design and post-implementation reviews to safeguard client and firm assets. - Collaboration and consulting: Partner with business users, clients, and cross-functional technology groups to analyze requirements, recommend advanced programming solutions, and resolve technical issues. - Mentorship: Serve as a technical advisor and coach to junior analysts, promoting best practices and fostering team growth. - Risk management: Appropriately assess risk when making technical and business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations.
