Job description

Description: - Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for External Reinsurance operations across multiple Property & Casualty (P&C) entities. - Prepare and review GL, subledger, payment tracker, and profit share reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Record and validate journal entries related to ceding commissions, IBNR, premium allocations, reinsurance settlements, and intercompany transactions. - Manage reinsurer invoice reconciliations, settlement requests, collateral analyses, and Letters of Credit activities. - Support Schedule F, BEA reporting, statutory filings, cash flow projections, recoverable reporting, and other regulatory submissions. - Prepare BlackLine account reconciliations and audit support documentation for internal, external, and statutory audits. - Analyze reinsurance balances, identify discrepancies, and coordinate resolution with accounting, finance, and reinsurance stakeholders.
