Academic Registrar - Cardiology

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular disorders under consultant supervision.
• Provide care to patients in OPD, IPD, CCU, catheterization laboratory, and emergency services.
• Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Assist in the management of acute cardiac emergencies, including myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, heart failure, and cardiac arrest.
• Participate in ward rounds and implement treatment plans as advised by consultants.
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams.

Academic Responsibilities

• Participate in academic teaching programs, CMEs, seminars, journal clubs, and case presentations.
• Assist in training residents, interns, and medical students.
• Contribute to the preparation and delivery of academic sessions within the department.
• Maintain academic records and support departmental educational initiatives.
