The Software Engineer – Akeneo PIM is responsible for the design, development, configuration, integration, and support of Caterpillar's Product Information Management (PIM) platform. This role contributes to the delivery of scalable, secure, and reliable product data solutions that support Caterpillar's digital commerce, customer experience, and product information initiatives. Working as part of a cross-functional product team, this position partners with business stakeholders, architects, product managers, and external vendors to implement and maintain product data capabilities, integrations, and governance processes. The role combines hands-on technical development with platform administration and operational support to ensure high-quality product information is available across enterprise systems and digital channels Key Responsibilities Akeneo Platform Development & Configuration

• Configure and maintain Akeneo entities including product families, family variants, attributes, attribute groups, categories, channels, locales, asset families, and reference entities.
