JOB DESCRIPTION

• Will be responsible for leading and managing a team of RMs to drive business growth and effectively manage the portfolio. The role entails recruiting and developing a high-quality team, supported by a strong understanding of the local geography and market dynamics.

• Will oversee the acquisition and management of customers across Agri, Food Processing, and MSME industries by offering tailored financial solutions, including working capital (fund-based/non-fund-based) and term loan facilities. The focus will be on building a strong and sustainable customer base to drive both asset and liability growth while ensuring consistent revenue generation through high service standards.

• The role also involves deepening relationships with existing customers through cross-selling of liability and third-party products. Ensuring portfolio quality is critical, with continuous monitoring of accounts to maintain portfolio hygiene, prevent delinquencies, ensure timely closure of post-disbursement conditions, and completion of security perfection.

• Will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Credit, Risk, Legal, Technical, RCAD, and GR teams to facilitate smooth processing and meet customer requirements. Additionally, the role requires working with various channels to strengthen and expand the customer base.

• A key expectation is to drive operational efficiency by continuously reviewing ground realities and market trends and suggesting process improvements to enhance productivity and business outcomes.

Overall, the Area Manager will oversee end-to-end business performance, team management, and customer lifecycle as part of a comprehensive role.
