Assistant Engineer-Assembly

Job Description Summary We are seeking an Assistant Engineer – Assembly to take a lead, multi-skilled role in Mark VIe control cabinet assembly, wiring, testing. This position contribute to building Mark VIe cabinets and provide technical guidance and day-to-day leadership to the production team being part of HPT, drives troubleshooting and problem solving, and helps deliver on safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

Site Overview: Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components, supporting not only India’s defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape India’s aerospace ecosystem.

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform Mark VIe cabinet assembly, wiring, and electrical device installation
• Work multi-skilled across assembly, testing, sub-assembly, and maintenance support
• Troubleshoot wiring, assembly, and test issues and drive root cause and corrective actions
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to HPT members on the shop floor
• Plan and manage daily production to meet output and FPY targets (95%+)
• Coordinate with warehouse and CFT for materials, quality, and machine maintenance
• Ensure job quality, maintain tools and machine health, and support audits and inspections
