Assistant Manager - Operations

Job Description: Assistant Manager – Operations Department: Operations Function: E-commerce Fulfillment / Warehouse Operations Job Summary Responsible for managing daily fulfillment operations, including picking, sorting, and dispatch, ensuring productivity, order accuracy, SLA adherence, and optimal manpower utilization. Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily picking, sorting, and dispatch operations to meet productivity and delivery targets.

• Monitor KPIs such as picking productivity, pick accuracy, order fill rate, dispatch TAT, and on-time dispatch.

• Ensure accuracy in SKU picking, LPN handling, tote allocation, and HHD scanning.

• Track short picks, wrong picks, damages, store shortages, cancellations, and rework; implement corrective actions.

• Plan manpower deployment and optimize workforce productivity and utilization.

• Coordinate with inventory, transportation, and cross-functional teams for smooth operations.

• Prepare daily MIS reports and analyze performance trends to identify improvement opportunities.

• Lead and coach team leaders, supervisors, and associates.

• Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate in any discipline; Logistics or Supply Chain qualification preferred.

• Relevant experience in e-commerce warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics operations.

• Experience in team handling and fulfillment KPI management.

• Working knowledge of WMS, HHD/scanners, and MS Excel.

• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Picking productivity and pick accuracy.

• Short pick, wrong pick, and damage percentages.

• Batch completion and dispatch TAT.

• On-time dispatch and order fill rate.

• LPN, sort, and tote accuracy.

• HHD scanning compliance and store shortages.

• Manpower utilization and operational efficiency.
