Job Description

Role overview: The Director, Loan Operations leads the syndicated and private loan servicing function supporting Advent Geneva and fund administration clients. The role is accountable for accurate and timely processing of agent notices, trade settlement, position and cash reconciliation, and daily controls, and acts as the senior escalation point for clients, custodians, and agents. Key responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of loan operations analysts and managers across shifts and locations.
• Own daily processing of agent notices (rate sets, paydowns, splits and combines, restructures) and ensure bookings are correct and on time.
• Oversee trade settlement through ClearPar and LSTA/LMA documentation, including open trade and delayed compensation tracking.
• Own position and cash reconciliation against trustees, custodians, and prime brokers, and drive break resolution to closure.
• Maintain and strengthen the control framework: daily checks, exception reporting, KPI and SLA reporting, audit and SOC support.
