Job Summary
Black & Veatch is seeking an Associate Engineer to support the planning, analysis, design, and construction of geotechnical components across civil works (dams/hydropower, tunnels, conveyance/pipelines), water and wastewater, site development, and energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in geotechnical investigations including review of borelogs, laboratory & field test data, and site investigation reports.
- Support the analysis and design of foundations, cut & fill retention structures, embankments and slopes, and ground improvement & dewatering systems.
- Assist with geotechnical calculations, technical memoranda, and design reports.
- Provide geotechnical design support for grading, drainage, pavements, and underground structures.
