Business Unit Description NXP’s Automotive Processing business line provides the processing power and system enablement needed to accelerate the next generation of automotive innovation, including vehicle networking, wireless connectivity, body and chassis, powertrain, safety, gateway, zone control, advanced driver assistance systems and central-compute applications. The business line includes flagship automotive processor platforms such as S32G, S32Z/E, S32N, and other next-generation real-time and applications processing devices that enable scalable vehicle architectures for software-defined vehicles (SDVs) and connected automotive platforms. Vehicle architectures are rapidly evolving from distributed ECU-based systems to zonal, domain and central-compute architectures, where software, high-speed networking, real-time processing, security, safety and AI-driven workloads are becoming key differentiators.
