Provide overall on-site process advisory leadership in the role of Process Advisor or Chief Process Advisor to ensure the safe and effective execution of unit checkout, pre-commissioning, catalyst and/or adsorbent loading, startup, initial operation and performance guarantee & test run. Advise customer engineering and operations teams, coordinate Process Advisors, troubleshoot emerging issues and establish operating guidance that supports a smooth startup and optimized unit performance.

Principal accountabilities & Scope

• Assume overall on-site responsibility for ensuring that commissioning, startup and initial operations advisory services are fully executed.

• Review supplied equipment against the Schedule A Package, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, standard specifications and drawings; identify discrepancies and advise on corrective actions that protect startup readiness and unit performance.

• Direct the development and implementation of the precommissioning programme, including hydrostatic testing, water flushing, leak testing, pump and compressor run-in, refractory dryout, high-temperature field testing, inspection, catalyst loading and instrument loop checking.

• Advise on heater and reactor circuit dryout and on catalyst and/or adsorbent loading activities.
