Job description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify and assess new organic and inorganic growth opportunities in the power sector including thermal, Renewable, Storage, Nuclear and Power Distribution business.
- Conduct commercial, financial, and regulatory due diligence for proposed opportunities.
- Prepare business cases, valuation models, and risk assessments to support investment decisions.
- Track market trends, policy developments, and competitive landscape to proactively identify growth avenues.
- Support senior leadership in investment proposals, board submissions, and strategic approvals.
Education and Qualifications
- Engineering / MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent.
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in the power and energy sector.
- Experience in business development or strategy.
- Exposure to financial modeling, analytics, and commercial evaluation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of Indian power market dynamics and regulations.
- Commercial acumen with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
