Summary: Role Overview We are looking for a Software Engineer – TrakSYS MES to support the development, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of MES applications using Parsec TrakSYS. The role provides an opportunity to work on MES solutions, system integrations, application support, and manufacturing-focused software development in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and configure Parsec TrakSYS MES applications based on defined requirements and technical specifications. Configure and develop TrakSYS Content Pages, Content Parts, Forms, Workflows, Data Models, Business Logic, Dashboards, and Reports. Develop and maintain application components using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET. Develop and consume REST APIs and Web Services. Develop SQL queries, views, functions, and stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server/T-SQL. Support integrations between TrakSYS and SAP/ERP systems, shop-floor equipment, OPC/Historians, and third-party applications. Participate in unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and defect resolution. Support application deployment, troubleshooting, and production support activities. Prepare technical documentation, test cases, and implementation/support documentation. Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and technical discussions. Collaborate with senior engineers and team leads to understand requirements and implement technical solutions. Follow coding standards, development guidelines, version-control practices, and CI/CD processes. Continuously develop knowledge of MES, TrakSYS, manufacturing processes, and emerging development tools. Required Qualifications & Experience 2+ years of hands-on experience in software development or MES application development. 1–2 years of experience with Parsec TrakSYS development/configuration. Working knowledge of C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and object-oriented programming. Experience or working knowledge of REST APIs and Web Services. Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL. Exposure to TrakSYS Content Pages, Content Parts, Forms, Workflows, Data Models, Dashboards, and Reports. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes such as Production Execution, Quality Management, Inventory Management, Batch/Recipe Management, and Electronic Data Collection. Exposure to application deployment, troubleshooting, and production support. Working knowledge of Git and Azure DevOps. Ability to analyze requirements and implement solutions under technical guidance. Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Experience working in an Agile environment. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Preferred Qualifications TrakSYS certification or formal TrakSYS training. Experience in Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, Chemicals, or Manufacturing industries. Basic knowledge of ISA-95 manufacturing standards. Exposure to IIS, CI/CD, cloud technologies, or AI-assisted development tools. Willingness to learn and contribute to MES/TrakSYS capability development.
