Data Lineage Platform Architect/Engineer

•Enable and operationalize enterprise wide data lineage across critical banking platforms •Implement lineage solutions using IBM MANTA and related lineage technologies •Design and validate end to end lineage for: Application level, schema level, table level, and Critical Data Element (CDE) lineage •Support lineage coverage across: Core banking databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server) ETL and integration platforms (Informatica, Ab Initio, SAS) File based and legacy systems (File systems, Hive, COBOL) BI and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) •Configure, tune, and optimize lineage scanners for large scale, complex data environments •Partner with Risk, Finance, and Compliance teams to support: Regulatory audits Supervisory exams Model risk management reviews •Validate lineage accuracy for transformations, joins, aggregations, and regulatory data flows •Analyze and resolve broken, partial, or missing lineage and metadata gaps •Collaborate with platform owners and data engineers to remediate upstream issues •Maintain detailed runbooks, operational documentation, and knowledge artifacts •Automate lineage operations including scheduling and orchestration using Arena •Optimize scan strategies to balance performance, coverage, and regulatory timelines •Enable lineage publishing and integration with Alation Data Catalog •Act as a key contributor in Agile delivery and platform governance forums
