Deputy General Manager

Role Objective / Major Purpose of the Job: To lead business finance operations for assigned business units/functions by providing strategic financial insights, driving financial performance, optimizing costs, and partnering with business leaders to support profitable growth and effective decision-making.

Principal Tasks & Responsibilities: Lead and manage business finance teams supporting various business units/functions. Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management processes. Monitor business performance through financial analysis, KPIs, and management reporting. Partner with business leaders to develop strategies, evaluate investments, and improve profitability. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions. Identify cost optimization opportunities and drive efficiency improvement initiatives. Evaluate business cases, investments, and growth opportunities from a financial perspective. Ensure effective financial governance, controls, and compliance across business functions. Develop and mentor finance teams to enhance capability and leadership effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, strategy, and corporate finance.
