Job description
1. Demand Forecasting & S&OP
- Drive the monthly S&OP demand planning cycle across Legrand (₹3,200 Cr) and IndoAsian (₹350 Cr) in
collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
- Work hands-on in Anaplan to run, update, and extract demand plans; coordinate with the global Anaplan CoE
for model enhancements. (Note: direct model-building access is not in scope.)
- Own the Demand Review within the S&OP cycle; prepare inputs and commentary for Executive S&OP.
- Track forecast accuracy
MAPE and BIAS on a rolling basis; implement structured corrective actions.
- Prepare and deliver the monthly forecast presentation to Legrand India’s leadership team including the
MD/CEO — requiring clear, insight-driven storytelling.
- Proactively identify demand risks and opportunities; follow through with commercial and supply chain
stakeholders.
2. Inventory Management & Slow/Non-Mover Reduction
- Identify Slow-Moving and Non-Moving (SLNM) inventory across both brands on a quarterly basis.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to build targeted sales plans for slow-movers — promotions, channel
push, bundling, or pricing interventions.
