Job description
Position: Gearbox Housing Design Engineer (T9); Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, or Production; Experience: Min. 3 years in automotive eAxle or transmission gearbox housing design;
Responsibilities: Design gearbox housings considering functional, durability, and manufacturing requirements (HPDC/LPDC/Sand Casting). Collaborate with cross functional teams & develop gearbox components with cast suppliers. Design of gears, shafts and brackets.
Skills: Expertise in housing design, GD&T, drawing specifications, Siemens NX, PLM (SMARAGD/Teamcenter). Basic knowledge of transmission components and CAE simulation.
