SUMMARY The Carrier Shipment team is building a strategic, carrier-neutral and contract-neutral platform that serves as the system of record for freight movement execution across the transportation ecosystem. As an Engineer III on the Carrier Shipment team, you will contribute as an experienced engineer who delivers reliable, high-quality outcomes while helping lead the team toward sound technical decisions. This role requires strong hands-on engineering capability across Java-based services, APIs, messaging systems, and Enterprise Cloud Platform, along with active participation in design reviews, solution discussions, code reviews, and production support. Engineer III is expected to influence team execution beyond assigned tasks by improving system design, strengthening operational excellence, supporting peers, and collaborating closely with Technical Product Managers, Architects, and adjacent engineering teams. The ideal candidate brings strong business understanding, technical depth, ownership, and a collaborative mindset to build scalable, reliable, observable, and high-quality software solutions that deliver measurable business value.
