Job description
Your role
We are seeking a Technical Documentation Engineer to support service excellence through the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of Field Service Standard Operating Procedures and related technical documentation.The role will focus on the Field service SOP and related technical documentation activities at Business Area level.
The ideal candidate to translate practical field-service knowledge into clear, accurate and user-focused technical documentation while working effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update and maintain Field Service SOPs (FSSOPs) and other technical documentation using appropriate authoring tools.
- Translate field-service practices, engineering information and product knowledge into clear and executable service procedures.
- Collect, evaluate and validate technical inputs including 3D models, BOMs, service data and product information.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering, Service, Product Management, Business Areas and external vendors to resolve technical queries and ensure completeness of inputs.
- Develop strong knowledge of vacuum products, service processes, configurations and field-service requirements.
