JOB DESCRIPTION – SENIOR ENGINEER, SOURCING (MECHANICAL) Job Title: Senior Engineer – Sourcing (Mechanical) Location: Bengaluru, India Experience: 3–5 Years Department: Supply Chain Management – L&T Electronic Products & Systems (LTEPS) Reports to: Lead– Sourcing (Mechanical)

Job Summary Responsible for end-to-end sourcing and supply chain execution of mechanical components for L&T EPS products. The role focuses on supplier development, procurement, cost optimization, purchase order execution, material readiness, and on-time delivery to meet project and production schedules. The candidate will coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Project Management, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution from product development through production. Key Responsibilities 1. Mechanical Sourcing & Procurement

• Manage sourcing of sheet metal parts, fabricated and machined components, castings, extrusions, heat sinks, moulded parts, fasteners, and mechanical hardware.
• Review BOMs, engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD models; float RFQs, evaluate techno-commercial offers, negotiate pricing, and execute purchase orders.
