Job description
Who are we looking for A Paralegal Manager will generally have at least six years of experience as a paralegal, including significant experience in the financial services industry, and three or more years of management experience. A Paralegal Manager must work closely with attorneys and paralegals to ensure that high-quality service is delivered to clients on a timely basis. The Paralegal Manager must demonstrate the ability to work with minimal direction from senior attorneys and to train and mentor junior staff. In addition, a Paralegal Manager must demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of day-to-day legal administration services for mutual fund clients and of the 1940 Act.
What will you be responsible for
- Keeps current with legal developments.
- Supervises the paralegals located in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Mumbai.
- Assists in the development of, and leads, a training program for paralegals.
- Serves as a resource for paralegals regarding legal, administrative and operational issues.
- Serves as a first reviewer of certain materials produced by paralegals.
