HIH - Accounting Senior Manager

Position Summary: Cigna Investment Management (CIM) manages over $25 billion in assets on behalf of Cigna, a publicly traded global health services company. CIM’s assets are invested in public bonds, private placement securities, commercial mortgages, real estate equity, mezzanine debt, private equity, equity securities, warrants, commercial paper, certificates of deposit, municipal securities, mutual fund shares, United States government securities, options contracts on securities, futures contracts on intangibles, money market funds, derivatives, structured notes, exchange traded funds and hedge funds. Evernorth is seeking a results-oriented and collaborative manager to support our growing Investment Accounting team at our Global Capability Center (GCC) location in Hyderabad. This critical role offers the opportunity to operationalize and execute accounting processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with global accounting policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid foundation in US GAAP reporting, NAIC Statutory reporting, and a commitment to continuous improvement. This individual will actively participate in the transition of certain accounting functions to the GCC and subsequently manage the day-to-day performance of investment accounting operations at the GCC location. Additionally, the role will support process excellence, and ensure timely financial close and reporting.
