ROLE SUMMARY We are looking for an L1 Backup & Storage Operations Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on enterprise infrastructure experience. Primary focus is Storage operations, with experience in either NetApp ONTAP or Pure Storage. Backup knowledge in Veritas NetBackup or Cohesity is required as a secondary skill. ITIL/ITSM knowledge is required
MUST-HAVE SKILLS
- 3–5 years relevant Backup / Storage / Infrastructure Operations experience.
- Strong primary Storage skill with either NetApp ONTAP OR Pure Storage.
- NetApp: SVMs, volumes, LUNs, NFS/CIFS, snapshots, capacity and replication/DR basics.
- Pure Storage: provisioning, volumes, capacity, snapshots/replication and monitoring basics.
- Secondary Backup skill in either Veritas NetBackup OR Cohesity: monitoring, failed jobs, restores, alerts and basic troubleshooting.
- ITIL/ITSM knowledge: Incident, Request, Change and Problem Management.
