Job Title Lead Electrical Engineer - Data Center Design & Engineering Location Chennai Reporting To Head - Data Center Engineering / Project Director Job Purpose Lead the design, engineering, commissioning, and operational excellence of mission-critical electrical infrastructure for hyperscale and enterprise data centers. Drive electrical engineering standards, technical governance, reliability, and project delivery across greenfield and brownfield developments while ensuring compliance with international data center standards and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities Design & Engineering
- Lead end-to-end electrical design development for hyperscale and colocation data centers.
- Review and approve Basis of Design (BOD), electrical specifications, SLDs, protection schemes, technical submittals, and IFC/IFT drawings.
- Coordinate with design consultants, EPC contractors, OEMs, and internal multidisciplinary teams.
- Review design stages including 30%, 60%, 90%, and AFC submissions.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, TIA, Uptime Institute, and local regulatory standards.
