Lead Mining Academy

Aditya Birla Group has significant interest in Mining across 3 businesses – Essel Mining, Hindalco and Ultratech. ABG Mining Academy is focused on developing technical skills for the Mining Cohort across these companies so that there is a bigger impact. Capability building is achieved via training programs which require a curriculum & content subject matter expert to design fit-for-purpose programs. This role envisages working closely with team members – Mining domain leaders and other experts - and delivering e-modules and e-SOPs as envisaged. The role holder is also expected to take full ownership of Mining Academy properties for online and off line learning The role holder as business partner for Mining is expected to design programs and ensure delivery to target audiences followed by post training evaluation, reporting out MIS and related activities such as attendance management, external & internal trainer/faculty liasoning. All initiatives are to be managed within department budgets. Frameworks and design models will ensure long term sustainability of Mining Academy via institutionalized tools & processes for greater business impact. The role holder must focus on higher end programs that enable Mining professionals to acquire the next skills & knowledge. The role holder is required to think beyond today & tomorrow to design future ready capability building programs and ensure that Mining function in ABG is Future Ready in terms of technical competencies
