Key Responsibilities In the role of Lead Software Engineer, you will: Lead the build and implementation of high-quality software solutions Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, build, and ship new features Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications Mentor and guide junior engineers to develop a culture of continuous learning Identify and ensure accurate bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain innovative Qualifications Who You are: Experience: 4 to 7 years Education: Bachelor’s(Engineering)/Master’s in computer science or a related field. Required Skills and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have: Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and modern web development concepts AWS+ReactJS+Typescript+Foundational Java knowledge is must have for this position Good understanding of React fundamentals: Functional Components, Props, State React Hooks (useState, useEffect, useRef, useContext) Component composition and data flow Forms, validation, and API integration React rendering and performance best practices Basic to intermediate TypeScript knowledge: Interfaces, Types, Enums Generics (basic understanding) Typing React components, props, and API responses Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Good to Have Experience with Next.js (App Router, SSR/CSR, Client & Server Components) Familiarity with Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API Basic understanding of Nx and monorepo concepts Experience with React Hook Form and testing frameworks What We Look For Strong React, JavaScript, and TypeScript fundamentals Ability to own medium-complexity features end-to-end Good code quality, collaboration, and communication skills Eagerness to learn modern React and Next.js practices Additional Information Why choose Principal Financial Group?
