Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal opinions and guidance to internal stakeholders on business transactions and operational matters.

• Identify legal risks and recommend mitigation measures.

• Support business teams in resolving contractual and legal issues.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Handle legal recovery cases across secured and unsecured loan portfolios.

Initiate and monitor recovery proceedings under applicable laws and regulations.

Manage cases under the SARFAESI Act for secured assets.

Requirements

• LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from a recognized university.

• Enrollment with Bar Council would be an added advantage.

• 2-6 years of experience in Legal Recovery, Collections Legal, Banking Legal, NBFC Legal, or Litigation Management.

• Experience handling retail, SME, commercial vehicle, LAP, mortgage, or secured asset recovery cases preferred.
