We are looking for a Senior Backend Java Developer to design and build the core backend services of a Master Data Management platform for a leading global credit ratings organization. You will engineer the server-side components that power Security Master, Entity Master, and Reference Data workflows — including data ingestion, processing, match-merge engines, workflow orchestration, and integration with downstream systems — using Java Spring Boot on AWS.

• Design and develop backend microservices using Java Spring Boot for MDM core functions: data ingestion, validation, match-merge, golden record management, and stewardship workflows.

• Build RESTful APIs consumed by the React UI and downstream enterprise systems, following OpenAPI/Swagger standards.

• Implement business logic for survivorship rules, conflict resolution, and golden record computation for Security and Entity Master data.

• Integrate with AWS services: RDS, S3, SQS/SNS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway

• Build workflow orchestration for stewardship tasks using AWS Step Functions or equivalent.

• Implement security controls: OAuth2/JWT authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), and data masking.

• Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
