Job Description Job Summary The Maintenance Technician – Mechanical is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment and systems to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This hourly role performs preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment, helps minimize downtime, and supports continuous improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and systems
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, piping systems, and other mechanical components
• Inspect equipment for wear, misalignment, vibration, leaks, and other mechanical issues
• Disassemble, repair, replace, and reassemble mechanical parts and assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, manuals, and work orders
• Use precision measuring instruments and maintenance tools to complete repairs accurately
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, and startup activities
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, parts usage, and work order documentation
• Follow all plant safety rules, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental requirements
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and other maintenance team members to resolve equipment issues
