The impact you’ll make
As a Mechanical Engineer at Lam, you will be owning & executing medium-complex Mechanical sub-system projects to design, develop, optimize, & implement design solutions in Lam Products. These projects would be driven as part of NPD, Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP), cost reduction and/or reliability improvement initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with both internal and external Cross Functional Teams (CFT) to ensure the product design meets its objectives, validate the design through performance testing & obtain approvals by following Product Development & Release (PDR) process.
- Develops & presents reports/presentations of excellent quality that communicate design intent, analysis & validation at design reviews.
- Develops & execute test plans that generate characterization data sufficient to understand and validate the performance of the design.
- Performs analytical work in order to characterize and properly specify designs, including heat transfer, stress, vibrations, fluid/gas dynamics and manufacturability. Design and develop thermo-mechanical components with understanding of fluid flow characteristics.
