Key Responsibilities

Quality Planning & Execution - New Product

- Customer Interaction for New Product Development quality related issues

- Ensure all specifications with respect to quality requirements are met for new product development

- Ensure Past Troubles are well captured in new Product /Process Design

- Conduct Customer process / product audits -New products

- Layout and inspection of parts - NPD

- PPAP Approval for Child Part In-house & BO PPAP as per Product MDS

- Participate in Obeya & Review of LVPT & HVPT trials w.r.t Quality expectations

- Developing and deploying efficient systems and policies to ensure smooth & FTR products handover

New Product Quality Control Management

- Ensure child Parts are verified as per requirements

- Ensure 100% Verification of Final Parts are verified as per requirements

- Special Process Audits within IPC Period (as per SOP)

- Ensure Process Capability / Cpk for Critical/ Customer defined parameters

- Analysis and Closure of IPC Observations

- Review & effectiveness monitoring of closure of CQPR for Development parts

- Deviation on New Products / Parts

Required Qualification & Experience

- Bachelors of Engg.

- 6+ years in Quality function in Auto/ auto comp industry; experience in leading process improvements (quality) preferred (Experience may vary for the role position : Mgr/DM/AM)

Functional Competencies

- Demonstrates understanding of internal quality guidelines and external regulatory standards and its application to and impact on product quality; Knowledge of Core Tools ; Problem solving techniques (8D / Shining tools / DOE / Six Sigma ), Awareness of Data Protection Practices
