Job description

To administer proper medication to the patients
To assist doctors in various medical procedures
To prepare articles & the patient for different medical or nursing procedure
To assist in administration of transfusion.
To provide perennial care, back care & maintain good personal Hygiene.
To maintain the intake output chart
To help doctors in diagnosis & treatment.
To clarify doubts of patients regarding treatment.
To observe changes in patient’s condition and accordingly record and report to clinician
To accompany trolley patient for investigation
To implement and maintain ward policies & routines.
To maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
To ensure personal hygiene & comfort of the patient.
To attend to the nutritional needs of the patient and feed helpless patient.
To help in orientation of new staff.
To provide proper linen and dress to the patient.
To maintain the progress, note in writing in each shift.
To adhere to the bio-medical waste disposal protocol.

Collection and checking of Investigation reports

To attend rounds with doctors and assist them during examination.
To implement Doctor’s instructions concerning patient treatment.
To assist patients and their relatives to adjust in the hospital and their routine.
