Position Summary We are looking for experienced Packing Operators with 2-6 years of experience in Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring Primary & Secondary Packing, Serialisation, and related manufacturing equipment while ensuring compliance with cGMP, safety, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor OSD packing equipment such as:
- Primary & Secondary Packing
- Check Weigher
- Serialization Equipment
- Ensure packing activities are carried out as per approved Batch Packaging Records (BPR) and SOPs.
- Verify packing materials before use and ensure reconciliation of components.
- Handle serialization and aggregation activities using packaging systems.
- Conduct in-process checks and record observations accurately.
- Ensure proper coding, batch details, and artwork verification.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine cleaning activities.
- Report machine breakdowns and coordinate with maintenance for rectification.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, EHS, and Data Integrity requirements.
- Participate in qualification, validation, and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain packing area housekeeping as per 5S standards.
- Support investigation and closure of deviations, incidents, and CAPAs when required.
Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / B.Sc. or equivalent qualification.
Experience Required
- 2-6 years of experience in a pharmaceutical OSD manufacturing facility.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Primary & Secondary Packing
- Check Weigher
- Serialization Equipment
Desired Skills
- Sound knowledge of cGMP and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Knowledge of pellet manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
- Ability to troubleshoot operational issues during manufacturing.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.
