The Role We are seeking a Platform Engineer to modernize and automate our virtual machine and core infrastructure services that form the backbone of our data center and hybrid-cloud environments. This role is multifaceted, focused on increasing the reliability, scalability, and security of foundational services such as DNS, PKI, logging, and observability through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps practices, as well as scaling and executing on our VM and hypervisor management ecosystems. You will also be responsible for automating the deployment and lifecycle management of critical COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) management tools. The ideal candidate has a strong background in traditional data center technologies and system engineering, combined with a passion for modern automation and platform engineering principles.
