Role Summary This role will be responsible for procurement operations activity within EQ. Proactiveness, self-drive, determination, and a positive attitude and behaviours are requirement of this role, as is a target orientated individual. The Procurement Buyer role is responsible for delivering best practice operational processes and practices by utilising technology and following EQ policies and procedures. The jobholder will seek continuous improvement in all activities performed, working under the instruction and closely with the Procurement Operations Manager. The role holder will deliver excellent customer service, truly understanding the business need and any issues raised by internal stakeholders, seeking speedy and effective solutions. The jobholder will ensure they deliver against targets, efficiency measures, values, internal satisfaction levels and agreed timescales. Furthermore, the jobholder will ensure improved utilisation of procurement tools. Developing strong working relationships with all members of the Procurement Team and being flexible in approach and tasks required for the betterment of the team (and its desired outcomes) is a key aspect of this role.
